Carpe Diem

​Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus Carpe Diem! Das Haus ist sehr groß, super sauber und bietet jede Menge Platz. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, sodass man sich problemlos selbst versorgen kann. Ein riesiger Pluspunkt war für uns der Self-Check-in – da wir erst sehr spät am Abend angereist sind, holten wir uns den Schlüssel vom Schlüsseltresor. ​Der private Pool war das absolute Highlight für uns und wurde ausgiebig genutzt. Auch der Gastgeber war unglaublich nett, hilfsbereit und extrem unkompliziert bei allen Anliegen.

​Ein kleiner, gut gemeinter Tipp zur Verbesserung: Das TV-Gerät ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und reif für einen Austausch. Zudem würde es dem wunderschönen Gebäude noch mehr Glanz und Gemütlichkeit verleihen, wenn die alten kaltweißen LED-Glühbirnen gegen moderne, warmweiße getauscht würden. Das hat unseren tollen Urlaub aber überhaupt nicht geschmälert.

The house has a rich history and many artistic details that give it a unique character and soul. We really liked it. The owner was kind and provided us with all the necessary information. The accommodation was very clean. We really liked it.

Since we were on holiday at the beginning of the season, there was some humidity in the rooms, which we got rid of by ventilating and using the air conditioning. Nothing special.

We had a wonderful stay in Carpe Diem. The house is beautiful and spacious - and very long (front to back) at over 30m! The location is quiet but easily accessible, and there are several very good restaurants within walking distance. And not forgetting the great private pool, which is 2m deep at one end. Highly recommended.

Very hard to think of any negative points. If there was one small let-down, it was that no washing powder/liquid/tabs was provided for the washing machine. This is not a criticism but it is worth noting that the spiral stone staircase to the bedroom on the top floor would be a challenge for anyone with even moderate mobility issues - but the stairs is lovely!

Very spacious accommodation, and in a quiet location. Great private pool. AC and fans available. In walking distance to/from the bars and restaurants in the square. Oh, and a very helpful host too!

New pool umbrella was still awaited. The floor is too flat in the small en-suite bathroom off the double bedroom and floods if not careful when showering.
