Lovely little cabin. Slightly cramped next to the bed and in the bathroom. There was also a bad smell that only existed inside the cabin. Also, the property owner has the light on the front porch on always, so the room lights up at night from the light outside. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay there again if they got rid of the smell.

Check-in was easy once we found it...it was in a quiet nice neighborhood, very pretty property. The kitchen area needed more counter space to put anything on. The bed was comfortable but a tight squeeze to actually get in it. Property owners were very nice and took care of a problem with a water leak very quickly we had while staying there. Nice stay.

We really enjoyed our little cabin just 3 minutes away from Lake Murray. Everyday we stay there was just another adventure that we took. We went fishing we went swimming we went and saw the castles we went horseback riding. If we ever get to take another short vacation I think we're going to look this place up again cuz we really enjoyed staying there. The Host to this little cabin where the nicest people we could have ever met. Thank youGrace

I came for the weekend to relax and catch some peace/ quiet. Have never used VBRO nor stayed at Somewhere Landing Cabins, but so very glad I took the chance on both! Cozy and clean cabin with everything I needed right there! Extremely attentive hosts! Responding to any questions or calls for assistance readily and with a smile! I would highly recommend a stay!

This place was very cute and served our purposes fine. It was a little smaller than we’d expected but we worked it out. It was decorated nicely and had what we needed. The phone service was fine for texting but voice services were sketchy. The host was kind enough to offer us a place to shelter if the storms got bad. Fortunately we didn’t need it!

I did give 5 stars for all but there were a few concerns. We did not get code until after reaching out to Vrbo to get it while waiting at the location. The location had a good variety of amenities. There was a bottle of sparkling wine in fridge and some snacks and water. A very nice touch. We did not use the wine and would have preferred sparkling apple of grape juice. The snacks were great. There was an ice maker that we used and produced good amount of ice for our daily beverage needs. There was everything needed for cooking, even an airfryer. Could have used some airfryer liners. The bathroom did not accommodate my husband well because he is tall and the front of toilet is right up by the wall, but he did not complain. The bed was a tight squeeze getting in and out of but it was comfortable. The tv was a bit tricky to use, but we did not watch it much. The location was great, quick drive to lake. There is a mom and pops store nearby, about 5 min drive, that has great food and many items if needed. The banana pudding is yummy. The people who work there are great. Over-all a great weekend.

This is a nice little quaint cabin near Lake Murray State Park. The owners are very nice, quick to respond and accommodating. We had a few issues but they were quickly addressed. Make sure to read the ad for the cabin fully before booking. Thanks.

Cabin was cute and clean. The bathroom in the cabin was small, but I read reviews beforehand and knew that going in. It was quiet, peaceful, and out of the way. Which is a good thing if you don’t enjoy being around a lot of people. The lake was only a short drive away and we had easy access. Would recommend to friends and/or book again.

The cabin is situated with great living space outdoors with a huge pergola with lots of cushioned seating spaces and a couple fire pits with chairs and even disc golf. Inside I missed when booking that it is a 1-room cabin not 1 bedroom and has a kitchenette more than a kitchen. It’s super convenient to Lake Murray and is fine if you’re microwaving pre-prepared food, making cold sandwiches or eating out but don’t bring food for cooking much! I’ll write about the kitchen more. Overall though the cabin is cute, clean, and the outdoor space is absolutely great, only 5-10min from lake Murray! Now on the kitchen - no oven or stovetop, there is a microwave and a flat griddle but the only microwave safe dishware was 2 coffee mugs (plates and bowls are cute decor and available but underside says they aren’t microwave safe). The kitchen sink is way too shallow for washing dishes (1.5inch deep); it’s adorable but no garbage disposal and I wouldn’t try to wash that griddle in the sink. The grill outside also was older so we really struggled to light it, and use it-my friend is a grilling master so I know I sound whiney but I’m really just making sure visitors are aware of the food prep situation before they arrive. We didn’t feel like it was clean enough to cook hamburgers on so we changed dinner plans. I think the kitchenette could have been better arranged considering the space, more like a camper kitchen but it is very cute decor-wise. Again cabin was cute & clean jst small

The cabin was very clean and decorated nicely. Location is easy to find and near Lake Murray, and the roads are paved. The yard is clean, well-kept, and nicely decorated. The bed and bedding were great. Towels were also of high quality. Furniture, etc. was relatively new and not heavily worn. The bathroom is very small. So small that I truly believe some people won't fit in it. I'm 6 ft. 1 in., 182 lbs. and I had to sit sideways on the toilet due to the narrowness of the bathroom. I have multiple relatives and others in my life who probably couldn't use the bathroom under any circumstances because they simply wouldn't fit in it. Wi-fi isn't intermittent as advertised. Rather, it basically doesn't exist. Over 4 days we were never able to access it for more than a few seconds at a time. Only local channels on the TV. There's no kitchen table.
