You can even in the day visit the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, spend the day at Lourdes, skiing in Gourette ....
This is what we offer in our house. Our particular location allows you to many walks but you can also choose to stay at home to enjoy the peace, tranquility and comfort equipment.
To make everything simple, the beds are made upon arrival and we provide you with towels and house.
The house is bright and warm ideally designed for holidays with family or friends.

Our hosts, Hervé and Isabelle, were so gracious and helpful. The cottage is very spacious and wonderful for couples travelling together. Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own in suite bathroom. The location is very convenient to explore the region. We enjoyed evenings on the patio. Very quiet and relaxing. The cottage is well appointed and very clean.

La mothe is an exceptional gite. Very clean and a wonderful welcome from Isabelle and Herve. There are not many gites with bathrooms attached to every bedroom plus an extra downstairs toilet. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. All the equipment was of a very high standard and the kitchen lacked nothing. We could highly recommend this gite and the only downside was the weather! We would definitely recommend this gite to our friends and anyone wanting to holiday in the pays basque. You couldnt find a better holiday home.

This is without doubt one of the nicest Gites we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot. The owners are genuinely warm and friendly and speak good English. They can help you settle in and advise you on places to visit with their local knowledge of the area.
The location is just amazing and a dream place to bring your kids. Our four year old adores it here. The surrounding countryside is simply stunning. The green rolling hills and cute well kept villages are sublime. Why on earth the English have not invaded is a mystery...but long may that remain....for here you will find a genuine French way of life that you will not see in the Loire Valley and the jam packed roads and beaches of the Cotes d'Azur.
The beaches are just 40 minutes away. The mountains about 1 hour. There is a great boulangerie close by and some gorgeous walks to do. A supermarket is a 5 minute drive with larger facilities at Peyrehorade. A market is every Wedenesday.
The weather is brilliant for this time of year and each day is warm. Just a few fleeting showers. It's the perfect place for a winter break.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, the beds are comfy and best of all is the log fire. The three rooms each have an en-suite toilet, shower and sink.
Book it, you will have any amazing time here.
