Villa Egidio

We stayed there for a few days, but I can honestly say that from the very first minute I interacted with the hosts, I felt at home. It’s unbelievable how quickly they made us feel like part of the family and how warmly we were welcomed. The location is outstanding, with a spectacular view of Sant’Angelo, which, for me, is the most beautiful side of the island. The rooms were incredibly clean, and the room service was spot-on. We were constantly provided with fresh towels, and the room was cleaned every day. The breakfast itself is one of the best I have ever experienced in all my travels around the world. Maria and her sisters prepared amazing cakes and snacks, and everything was homemade. Their traditional recipes allow you to discover the authentic taste of Ischia’s cuisine. They even provided us with snacks and water to take with us for our days at the beach. The view from the room was simply spectacular and breathtaking. But the most beautiful part of the experience was the way they welcomed and cared for their guests — from the coffee made with a Moka, just as tradition demands, to all their wonderful stories and anecdotes about the island. They make you feel like part of their family, and they genuinely treat you as such. At some point, I started calling them “aunties,” because the care they give their guests is the same kind of care a mother gives to her children. Honestly, this was the best experience ever. If one day I return to Ischia, I know that I will stay at their villa again. We were so sad to leave — saying goodbye was heartbreaking. I truly hope to see you again soon. GRAZIE! ❤️

Hosts were amazing, breakfast was delicious and the room had a stunning sea view!! Walking distance to everything we needed. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!
