Large, peaceful villa with recently upgraded private heated pool close to all amenities.
This classic southern French villa with heated private pool and large, fully fenced garden is set down a quiet track on the edge of the medieval village of Montmeyan, which provides all amenities within walking distance, including a well-stocked mini-supermarket, artisan baker, butcher, friendly restaurants and tabac-café, plus an artist’s atelier and a fascinating historic village trail culminating in wonderful views of Provence and the southern Alps.
Montmeyan is on the edge of the Verdon National Park and is an excellent base for exploring Provence whilst enjoying rural peace and quiet. In addition to the local equestrian centre, it is a 10 minute drive to Quinson with boating and kayaking on the lower Gorges du Verdon and the Museum of Prehistory, and a 25 minute drive to the even more stunning upper Gorges du Verdon, with water sports on the breathtaking turquoise waters of Lac Ste Croix, pretty lakeside villages, sand and pebble beaches and hiking. The beautiful town of Cotignac is nearby with its spectacular cave dwellings, art shops and restaurants. Aups is the truffle capital of the Var and provides a further variety of excellent restaurants and shops. Traditional Provencale markets can be found on any day of the week in these and many other beautiful towns and villages in the area. The lavender fields of Provence and the Luberon can be found to the north and west of Montmeyan, and the opulence of the French Riviera is just 1.5 hours’ drive away, with many beautiful villages and views along the way.
Les Mimosas has a large sunny pool area with a terrace for dining or sunbathing, and a shady veranda overlooking the pool area. The large 3000m2 (0.7 acre) fully fenced garden has badminton and table tennis set, barbecue and heated private swimming pool with retractable cover. Outside the villa there is ample parking in the large garden.

This spacious villa in Montmeyan, near Gorges du Verdon, offers a serene and comfortable retreat. Highlights include a beautiful private pool area, complete with a lovely tree providing ample shade for relaxation. The villa is quiet and offers easy access to the stunning gorge and nearby villages. A well-equipped supermarket is just a 10-minute drive away, ensuring convenience for all your needs. The property provided everything we needed for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

We had a perfect vacation in this wonderfull house near the georges of verdon. There is a big garden which was perfect for the children to play. Everything was clean and the hosts were super friendly. We were there with 4 adults and 3 children and we had enough space in this big house. We all would like to come again for vacation.

Une maison très agréable: spacieuse, propre, très bien équipée (même pour de jeunes enfants) et au calme. Village idéalement situé pour visiter la région et qui reste préservé des foules touristiques.
Propriétaires avec un vrai sens de l’accueil.

Das Haus ist groß, ruhig gelegen und ist gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten mit 4 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern im Alter von 10 und 15 Jahren ausreichend Platz. Montmeyan ist nicht von Touristen überlaufen, man bekommt aber alle Dinge für den täglichen Bedarf. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und hatten viele nützliche Tipps für eine wunderschöne Zeit - herzlichen Dank.
