Playroom with soccer game table tennis a happy surprise for us!

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Tiergarten train station, and convenient for the Berlin Marathon run. The room is clean and spacious. The only issue is the bed which can only access by walking a step up, and the wooden surface is a bit slippery. It is especially a problem after the race. And definitely not good for the elderly as well.

The Indian receptionist checked us in. When we asked if the bar was open, he said no. We then asked if there were any bars nearby, and he told us there were some only in the city. However, while taking the lift, we saw an advertisement saying that the hotel bar is on the 7th floor — and it was open! Why lie to guests about something like that? During breakfast, there were lots of small flies flying around the food. We also found some crumbs in the bed, and overall, the cleanliness was lacking. When checking in, we also had to wait for a very long time while they tried to find our room. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.
