The place is located conveniently only a few kilometers from Bayeux, allowing a short drive along rural Normandy roads. It is also close to Arromanches and D-Day beaches. The house is nice and well supplied with amenities, very clean and the kids loved the separate demi-étage and the garden. The hosts are very nice also and able to walk an extra mile if needed (like sending us by post something we forgot). Good base for Normandy explorers.

It was ideally located for the activities we wanted to do. Quiet and secluded location, property is beautifully decorated, comfortable and breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable, clean place to stay, in the heart of D-Day Normandy!

Perfect location for D-Day visits, right in the heart of everything. Decent, comfortable and clean place to stay, with basic breakfast, very polite and friendly owners. A couple of things to mention for future visitors is that: - there is no TV in the room, which was ok for us, as we were there for D-Day happenings and we were out all day - there is a fridge available for use, but not in the room/building itself - breakfast is served at the owners' kitchen

Wi-fi could work perfect, not only in the main building, with a Home Mesh Wi-Fi System. A small expense really, especially when wifi is needed to plan your D-Day excursions and your mobile does not have a signal due to the thick "ex-barn" building walls :-)

A peaceful, spacious welcoming B&B we would be happy to return to.

A wonderful place, our hosts couldn't have been nicer. Our 'room' was more like a maisonette, with a sitting area perfect for relaxing and enjoying the excellent tea and coffee provided. Having just flown in from California, the comfort and quiet were blissful for recovering from jet lag. An added attraction (not always found in France) was plenty of lighting, even a skylight ! No problem finding it with gps, and with Bayeux just a few easy minutes away, it was convenient for eating and sightseeing. Highly recommended.

wifi only available in the main house but it wasn't a big deal, just a minor inconvenience.

Heaven in Normandy

Fantastic accommodation. Stone built with so much character. Frederique and Alain were very welcoming. Ideally placed for us to cycle the surrounding countryside and take in the history of the area away from the beaches.

De gastheer deed zijn best om ons goede tips te geven om heen te gaan. Was heel vriendelijk en deed zijn best om ons in Engels te woord te staan.

Het ontvangst van de gastvrouw vond ik niet heel fijn. Het feit dat ik een Tesla reed beviel haar niet en ik was nog niet eens binnen. Ik voelde mij gelijk in een hokje geplaatst, terwijl zij mij niet eens kent.
