Isolated location, my room was the only one booked for most of the time I was there. There's no bike or car hire, limited food, no TV in the room, no AC, no hot water in the fancy bath and the termites are going to eat this place to the ground in a few years. I got a bit fed up walking across the floor barefoot only to be cleaning my feet of termite dust! It's a bit sad as it could be something quite special, but I'm nit sure the owners really know what they're doing. The kitchen was pretty filthy, but when you're as isolated as this place is you don't have much choice other than eating there. Granted, it was cheap, but maybe they need to charge a bit more and give the place an update. Grandma's sheets just don't cut it in 2024. With that said, the staff are very friendly, but most seem to be doubling up as grounds staff or builders all wearing gumboots! 🤪 Suggest management take a hotel course to make improvements.
