The staff were so so friendly and kind. The homestay itself was very clean and spacious. There’s a beautiful garden at the homestay with amazing views and the beach is just a 10 minute walk away. Definitely recommend if your looking for a peaceful place to stay while in the area

This homestay was amazing and easily one of my favourite places during two months of travelling across Bali and Indonesia. The host is a lovely, welcoming lady — very attentive and always happy to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and even had a mosquito net. The outdoor area is beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of space to relax, sunbathe, or enjoy a meal at the table and chairs provided. There’s also an incredibly cute cat who we absolutely loved!
The location is great — slightly up a hill, but it’s only a 5–10 minute walk to town and about 10–15 minutes to the beach. As a bonus, there’s an amazing warung right next door serving delicious, inexpensive local food with fantastic owners.
I couldn’t recommend this place more — such a wonderful stay!

Scuba diving trip, rented two bungalows for 8 days, one for myself, one for my boys.
The good sides: inexpensive, an important factor for a 2x8=16 nights rental, staff is friendly, accommodating.
The bad sides: slightly run down, the place could use a spell of maintenance, something to be expected in that price range. The breakfast is advertised to start at 07:30, no matter how much advance I gave, I never had the main course of eggs before 08:00, slightly annoying when one needs to be at 08:30 at the dive shop.
But the real trouble are the bedbugs. I wanted to be sure, and first ruled out the mosquitoes (nope), the diving (nope), and finally on the last two nights found that sleeping fully clothed atop the bed improved things (retrospectively I regretted killing the cockroach I found inside the bed since it was most likely controlling the bedbug population...). Then on checkout morning, my younger boy complained about itching on his arms and legs... thus the situation is not confined to one bungalow... now we moved elsewhere covered in bites and itch, and I worry about bringing this home...
You might want to spend a bit more...
