B&B San Trifone

A lovely B and B located in a very quiet Italian town, but can be accessed by bus or train from central Bari. The building is a 15 - 20 minute walk from the bus/train station. Using Google translator, the host showed me around the property and where to get breakfast each morning, which isn't provided at the property. If your room doesn't have a balcony, there's a large terrace on the top floor of the building, and there is a communal fridge on this floor for all the guests to use. The rooms are cleaned daily and you are given a card each day to get your breakfast at the cafe that the host shows you. A supermarket and restaurants are available. They close in the afternoon for a few hours, as some of the bars and coffee shops open at 5 am.

It's a very quiet town, but has lots of history. I'd say that it's not the sort of town to spend any number of days for a holiday, more a stop over town to stay at, or maybe use as a base, as the train to Bari central station is regular and a reasonable price. But saying that, I enjoyed my stay there and used the train to explore.

Abbiamo pernottato una notte devo dire che Filomena è stata molto gentile ospitale e soprattutto disponibile, la struttura è molto bella altrettanto la camera munita di tutti i confort, con un bel balconcino che affaccia sulla chiesa. Invece sopra c'è una terrazza dove ti puoi rilassare.. Grazie! Se torneremo sicuramente sappiamo dove alloggiare☺️
