The apartment itself was very spacious, nice and clean and very modern. The shower was lovely and big. The bed was comfy and there was Netflix on the television which was great. Shop downstairs had all toiletries as we didn’t pack any, good selection as well.
The area surrounding the apartment wasn’t very busy. We ended up getting trains into Santa Lucia as we couldn’t find a lot to do surrounding us. I had previously researched the area but a lot of places weren’t open that we saw online. No fault of the apartment just maybe more suited for people who are after a quieter holiday. The lock box we struggled to find at first but once we found it, it was very simple to get into.

Very good location, close to town and all amenities (there’s a supermarket downstairs). Apartment is very spacious and in a secure and stylish building.
The property felt quite rundown, dark and I am afraid to say to meeting the standards of hygiene you would expect on a holiday rental. Sadly during our stay there was also an unbearable smell of pipes, which the host told us it was down to the “climate” but it was just really bad and affected the overall experience in a negative way. Overall, it just didn’t feel welcoming and cosy as expected and would not book the same again.
