Sweet Home Punta Cana is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations. This is not a big resort, it is a beautiful guest house with a warm “feels like home” atmosphere, but without any of the worries. The room was super comfortable with a private bathroom, fast WiFi that worked perfectly for streaming on the Smart TV, a modern AC that cooled the room really well, plus ceiling fans which was a great extra touch. The shared kitchen was honestly so nice and convenient, making the stay feel even more comfortable. The value for the price is incredible. You can walk to the beach, there are restaurants and a supermarket nearby, Uber and Uber Eats work great, and they even have bicycles and Vespas available to rent. Another thing that surprised us was how modern and easy everything was. The remote video check-in, electronic keys, and their guest portal with concierge services made everything simple. You can book excursions, laundry service, airport transfers and more directly through them.

Nothing really negative. Just understand this is a guest house, not a large resort. It is definitely much better than a hostel and has more of a peaceful independent stay feeling. For us, that was actually the best part because we enjoyed Punta Cana at our own pace. Honestly, it exceeded our expectations. We were not expecting such an amazing place. A true hidden gem in Punta Cana.

Sweet Home Punta Cana was the perfect place to enjoy Punta Cana beyond just the resorts. The location was very convenient, with a supermarket right around the corner, easy access to public transportation, and Uber worked perfectly (Uber Eats honestly saved us a few nights 😄). We could walk to the beach, rent bicycles and even original Italian Vespas directly from them to explore around. We also booked our airport transfer and excursions through their website, everything was super easy, organized, and transparent with no unexpected tourist charges or surprises.

Nothing really. Punta Cana is a destination where exploring different areas makes the trip much better, so having transportation options, tours, and local recommendations available made a huge difference.

So nice and the host is a delight. The gas station nearby has bangin food.

A bit of a walk to get food that’s not Italian.
