Conditions are decent. Nice vibe overall. Socializing depends on you. The “bum gun” in the bathroom was a nice surprise. Location is very good - on the main road, 10 min walking to the beach, 2 min walking to the nearest ATM and local food stands. Hot water for showering.
Name is a bit confusing. Search for ArtHostal or EcoHostal on maps apps Bars for curtains are installed but no curtains yet. Fans are very dirty. Fridge barely cools and freezer hasn’t been defrosted in a long time. Reception isn’t always staffed, so you may need to wait a bit for someone to arrive.

Happy to have found the one and only hostel in punta Cana , there should come more I think🤭😅
The shower isn’t really inviting , I took the a Swim in the ocean

Lovely staff and facilities, really great value and experience!
Only a very minor issue was the ceiling fan in the dorms would blow your cover off you if on the top bunk.

The staff were kind and helpful.
there were doing renos so there was a bit of a construction energy as well as the area was not so nice to walk.
