Villa Can Pulit by Slow Villas

The villa and pool and the outside terrace are all fantastic spaces to spend time in or on. You also have a great view over the valley between Selva and Inca looking out over the Mallorcan countryside. The garage is very handy to park the car and close the door and straight up into the villa kitchen. The location to the village square is so good ( Only Maybe 200 metres) where you have your bakery, your choice of Restaurants and also the little pub hidden in one of the streets of the square.

The location was excellent. The house is only a short walk from the town square, which has a great bakery and several good bars and restaurants. We particularly liked that the town feels more authentic and less tourist-dominated than some of the other towns on the island. In the evenings there were plenty of local people eating out, which created a friendly atmosphere. The people we met were welcoming, and I enjoyed a fascinating conversation with the property owner about the history of the town. The property itself is spacious and well suited to a family stay. The pool was a real highlight, as was the outdoor dining area. Having a garage for the car was also convenient. For cyclists, the location is excellent, with great road cycling routes nearby and a good bike hire shop in town.

Unfortunately, a broken air conditioning unit in the main bedroom had a significant negative impact on our stay. During our visit the weather was unseasonably hot, with temperatures in the mid-30s°C most days. The unit produced a constant, heavy drip that landed on a radiator and toilet below, creating a loud noise throughout the night. The leaking water also soaked the bathroom area. As the bathroom is open to the master bedroom, the noise carried directly into the sleeping area, making it extremely difficult for my wife and me to sleep. We reported the problem on the first full day of our stay and followed up several times via WhatsApp. However, despite repeated chasing, no repair was arranged until five days later, on our final full day. By then, the issue had affected most of the holiday. The property is managed by Slow Villas rather than the owner, and our experience with the agency was disappointing. After returning home, we raised the matter again. Slow Villas acknowledged the issue and offered a discount on a future booking worth approximately 6.6% of the cost of this stay. We felt this did not adequately reflect the disruption caused and explained our concerns. Unfortunately, we received no further response and the matter appeared to be closed without any meaningful attempt to resolve it, which was particularly disappointing given the significant impact the issue had on our holiday.
