The Blue House

Lovely peaceful location whilst central to Tintagel itself and lovely to be able to just walk from the house. Also lovely views from the upstairs decking even though the weather was damp and murky so nice to sit out from there.

All good!

Lovely setting, enjoyed a morning coffee looking at the sea views from the balcony. Secure gated location felt very safe. Bunk beds were a hit with our daughter and her dolls!

Unglaublich gute Lage direkt im Ort, nur wenige Schritte entfernt von Pubs, Restaurants und kleinen Supermärkten. Ideal auch die Bushaltestelle gleich in der Nähe und die Nähe zum Coastal Path.

Da das Haus sehr alt ist, ca. 150 Jahre gibt es leider Feuchtigkeit, welche man riechen kann. Das Haus ist aber modern mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet.

In principle in good location in centre of Tintagel. Spotlessly clean. Good shower-room (though basin slow to drain). Friendly message from host. Friendly neighbours.

Noise from building site near property at various times during normal working hours - inevitable drilling, banging, vehicle noise etc. Building work had plainly been going on some time (two substantially completed houses) so I felt I should have been warned and would not have taken property ( having building work going on next door to my own home this was particularly disappointing). Site clearly visible from outside seating area facing sea view. Got keys from lockbox OK, but difficult to use. 80% of times key didnt seem to work from outside. so had to try repeatedly or use french window instead of front door. Almost overpowering "airfreshener" smell on lower floor, which I found very unpleasant. (I think a plug in one had been left on in unventilated area for long time or was misfunctioning. and then later I found a second.) Took a long time to dissipate. Double bed had lump ?seam? in middle. Printed info provided needed some updating following easing of covid restrictions.
