Driftwood Apartment

Apartment is located in a very good position, close to the harbour shops cafes and restaurants. It’s very well equipped and comfortable.

The car parking is shared by 2 apartments and can be very tight if the cars are big

Very comfortable with everything you need to hand. Lots of good eateries nearby. Tesco across the road. Not far from places to visit.

Not a dislike. We would have found the duvet too hot but we always take our own anyway.

Lovely apartment in a quiet but central setting. Great facilities for our small family. Amble is a great base for exploring Northumberland. Didn't meet the owner but he was very friendly and helpful on the phone.

It would be useful to have some basic essentials such as cooking oil and shower gel provided. The baby travel cot and highchair were very dusty and needed a good wipe down, but I understand our request for these items (made at the time of booking) was only passed on to the owner by Sykes Cottages (who manage the listing) at the very last minute so he wasn't given chance to prepare them.

Everything. The appartment was lovely & clean. It had a seaside theme throughout. Very central, close to all amenities. Would definately recommend to family & friends.

The only thing was the parking. There was'nt much room to get round when the other guests arrived for the ground floor appartment with the way they parked. Even when we loaded the car up to leave they so my husband struggling past & made no attempt to move there vehicle.
