Lovely cottage would recommend
Great countryside location with lovely views, spacious well furnished property, books & games for wet weather days. Provided us with tea bags etc which was lovely. Helpful owners, had a relaxing stay & would recommend
Oddly as the owners supplied us with tea bags there was only one toilet roll, not an issue to buy ourselves though. Skirting boards were very dusty but otherwise very clean.

Lovely house and the hosts did everything to make us welcome.
It was in a lovely quiet place and when we arrived we had a few things to make a cup of tea and coffee and a bottle of wine. Great.
Everything was great.

Exceptional
Great location and wonderful views with very friendly and helpful owners. Nice scenic walk into Ulverston with plenty of choice for food and drinks if you don’t fancy cooking in the cottage. 30 minute drive to the heart of the lakes.

Phonomenal Cottage And Scenery And Hosts
The Cottage Was Phonomenal And In A Phonomenal Setting. It Was Stunningly Gorgeous With An Open Plan Lounge And Kitchen And Spiral Staircase Leading To A Mezzanine. Was Welcomed By The Lady And Left Wine And Coffee And Tea. It Was So Modern But Felt So Homely. I Kept Using The Term When We Get Home .It Was Spotlessly Clean. The Beds Where New And So Comfy I Slept The Best I Have In Years. Me And Three Other Girls Who Stayed We Thoroughly Enjoyed It And Didn't Want To Leave. We Tried To Book For Summer But Fully Booked. It Was Extremely Great Value For Money. The Cottage And Facilities And Scenery And Hosts Were Exceptional. We Will Definitely Stay Again.
There Was Not A Single Thing I Could Fault. It Is Phonomenal.

Beautiful setting and property.
it was a clean and very well maintained property in a stunning location. it was accessible for the local town. it was a quiet place to refresh and recharge batteries. The host was responsive and communicative before and initially on arrival. Added extras like the wine and a few provisions were appreciated. The quality of the bed linen and towels was good. The shower was good (albeit pipes were noisy). Parking was good for three cars. it is a stunning example of a refurbished, repurposed and remodeled property.
Some of the difficulties we encountered as four adults staying can be easily resolved. So we wouldn’t want to put potential guests off booking if they are resolved. None of the mattresses were comfortable. The single bed mattresses were very firm and maybe only suitable for children. The fridge didn’t seem to keep the food chilled enough and was small. One teaspoon and only two cutlery knives/forks seemed puzzling. Mostly though it was the WiFi. The location meant we didn’t get much mobile signal so we were reliant on WIFI. A separate router for the property would be appreciated. At times it seemed the router had been turned off, for example late at night. We can't be completely sure since we had no access to the router, however it certainly seemed that way. Another issue with the WiFi was there was no signal at the end of the house with the double bedroom. So those guests had to go to the other end of the house to get a signal. This was not only inconvenient, but also unworkable since that meant sitting in the living room just below the mezanine area where the two single beds were, meaning late night calls using WiFi were almost impossible, assuming of course the WiFi was turned on. We had a heavy schedule and except for the start of the stay we didn’t see the host till just before leaving. We relayed our comments directly so I expect they have already been resolved.
