This was an ideal place for us. It had everything we needed: somewhere to sleep, wash, sit and watch tv or read, and have breakfast, and handy for nice country walks and the village shops.
We have no complaints. Tall people might find the sloping ceilings upstairs annoying. I am only 5ft. 3" and bumped my head a few times. But it is a great base and you don't have to stay there all day.
