The Old Blacksmith's Workshop

Location was really good. Its on a very steep hill which was a little tricky with a pram. The parking space is challenging to say the least but I do have an audi a4 and their quiet big.

The wooden floor was really dirty. You couldn't let a child play on it.

The location was great, near to shops, microbar, start of excellent ghost walk and pub quiz. Excellent base for our bus and train holiday.

Don't expect a good view from the flat but it's location made up for it. Take your slippers as the hard floors were clean but worn.

Very clean, cosy, snug cottage. Amazing location and really well equipped - a lovely stay.

The location was great. Central & half way up the hill. Very powerful shower. Very clean. Well laid out kitchen except we didn't use it so can't speak for utensils / provision of saucepans etc. Easy to check in.

The parking space (one of the main reasons I booked the property) is very small. Only really suitable for a very small car. The metal bollards that have been put in since the google maps pictures make it even more difficult to manoeuvre into the space as there is a brick wall in front and behind. Drop down bollards would be a much better option. It would be nice if one of the rooms had twin beds so that friends do not have to share. Also, both doubles were small, not king-size. The larger bedroom has a very soft mattress, ok if you prefer this but I found it really difficult to turn over in bed and my husband struggled to get into bed as it was also very low. Not an issue for many but something to be aware of.
