The quiet location and relaxing atmosphere

Clean and more spacious than expected - the bathroom was the size of a bedroom! Large flagstones were laid throughout with exposed beams and skylights in the roof.
It was peaceful and quiet and lovely to watch the sheep in the field next door while having breakfast in our own enclosed garden. The views from the campsite were exceptional, looking across the fields to the sea down below We had our own parking outside the gate. Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby were the nearest spots to visit with beautiful quieter beaches in between.
We brought our elderly dog along, perhaps a younger more sprightly lurcher may have easily jumped the fence into the sheep field? Luckily our dog didn’t realise they were there. He stayed inside most of the time as he didn’t like the gravel garden. It was perfect for him inside on the flagstone floor.
