Merchants Street Valletta Apartment

Beautiful, bright and spacious apartment. The large sofa was great for relaxing in the evenings, the bed is large and comfortable. The apartment is located on a very busy street, with shops, bars and restaurants close by, but it is surprisingly quiet inside the apartment. The air-conditioning was a huge advantage as we were there in August with soaring temperatures so it felt great to come back to cool down and relax. We would not hesitate to book this place again!

Couldn’t fault this apartment - it’s a beautiful space to stay in, & renovated with great taste. Beautiful, modern bathroom. Big couch to curl up on & a comfortable bed. This host has thought of everything & he communicated regularly & helpfully on any issues that came up & provided lots of recommendations for restaurants & activities. He provided a lovely bottle of white wine & bottled water on arrival. Location right on Merchants Street so some noise from shops below is to be expected but nothing that can’t be blocked out by shutting the windows & shutters. From the bedroom you cannot hear any noise from the street below. Toaster wasn’t working on Day 1 of our stay - the host replaced it immediately - brilliant!

Be aware that there are 3 flights of stairs to get up to the apartment but many of these older buildings have stairs.

Location was good for main city, no access via car

Doonas provided were soiled advised owners on the very first day and unfortunately they said they would provide new ones after the following day and never heard back nor new doonas were provided. Room itself has lots of mosquitoes that come into it.
