The location was great, right across the road from beach. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances, utensils, etc ... Nice to have a washer. And the bunk beds were appreciated.

The double bed was a little uncomfortable.

We´d do it again, for the view, the peace and the comfort.

The location, the great view and its accessibility (free parking at will, one just has to enter the number plate of the car). Endless walks on the sand despite the at times rather rough windy bursts. The apartment was very well equipped, certainly in view of us being a large family of 6. The staff / owners are very helpful with very quick reaction time. The apartment is very clean. Well done!

Little space for putting away things, as most closets are secured closed; The ones that are accessible are filled up with belongings of the owners. The boiler needs its own little time to heat up.

Schöne Wohnung mit sehr guter Ausstattung - leider schwierige Kommunikation mit den Vermietern.

An der Wohnung hat uns besonders gut gefallen, dass man nicht nur nach vorne einen schönen Blick auf den Strand hat, sondern auch nach hinten einen schönen Blick in die Dünen. Das haben wir so noch nirgendwo an der belgischen Küste erlebt. Auch waren wir positiv überrascht von der Ausstattung der Küche. Nicht nur verschiedene gute Töpfe und Pfannen waren vorhanden, sondern auch ein Mini-Pizza-Ofen, ein Crepe-Eisen und ein Raclette-Gerät! Auch war der Kontakt mit den Vermietern via E-Mail vor und während unseres Aufenthaltes immer prompt und hilfreich.

Warum dann keine 10 Punkte? Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Raversijde (Milchladen VanDamme, Sandwicherie De 4 Seizoenen) sind doch sehr eingeschränkt, man muss schon nach Mariakerke zu Bäcker und Supermarkt. Warum dann keine 9 Punkte? Die Wohnung ist ab dem 1. Tag nur mit hohen Kosten stornierbar und die Angaben bei booking.com zur Abrechnung der Stromkosten sind nicht transparent: Man erfährt die Höhe der Stromkosten auf der Webseite nicht (und in Belgien sind sie mit ca. 50 ct/kWh sehr hoch) und es gibt auch keine Schätzung der Kosten. Die Höhe der Stromkosten haben wir erst aus einer E-Mail des Vermieters erfahren, nachdem wir schon quasi unwiderruflich gebucht hatten. Wir mussten zwar nicht heizen, das wäre aber sehr teuer geworden. Warum dann keine 8 Punkte? Nachdem wir die Stromkosten an den Vermieter überwiesen hatten (es waren unter 20 Euro) weigerte sich der Vermieter, uns die Kaution von 250 Euro zurückzuerstatten. Er wollte erst eine Bewertung erzwingen, die ihm genehm ist, obwohl Bewertungen bei booking.com freiwillig sind. Auch gebe ich solche Bewertungen immer erst wenn alles abgeschlossen ist. Warum dann keine 7 Punkte? Es erforderte einige unerfreuliche E-Mails mit dem Vermieter, um unseren Standpunkt zu erklären und ihm Ultimaten zu stellen. Auf Kommunikation via booking.com hat er niemals reagiert. Warum dann keine 6 Punkte? Wir mussten (nach Ankündigung) den booking-Kundenservice einschalten, weil wir nach einem Monat immer noch auf die Rückerstattung der Kaution gewartet haben. Warum dann keine 5 Punkte? Auch der booking-Kundenservice konnte die Vermieter nicht überzeugen, uns die Kaution zurück zu erstatten. Stattdessen hat booking uns die 250 Euro erstattet. Der Vermieter hat sich nie mehr geäußert, auch nicht bei telefonischen Kontaktversuchen. Schade! Ein sehr schlechtes Nachspiel nach einem an sich schönen Aufenthalt.
