Nice apartment, well equipped with all you might need during your stay. Beds layout would be better for a familly with kids thank for two couples (one sofa bed in the living room and two bunk beds in the bedroom). It is located very nicely - 3 mins away from a cable car station and walking distance form shop, restaurant and hiking trails,

I liked the multiple level room

The room was a good size with adequate kitchen and bathroom facilities and a lovely balcony. Free WiFi. Clean room. Good value for money.

Sofa bed was quite uncomfortable - it was OK for the price but it wasn't great. The reception staff were not very welcoming. They didn't show us or give us any information about the hotel in English e.g. about how to reserve swimming pool, the ski storage room, a map of Donovaly or any help at all. The man at the swimming pool was very very rude. On the day of leaving we had checked out on time and then gone skiing for the day. Our luggage could be left in the unmanned reception area - it was not locked away. When we came back to pick up our luggage my children needed the toilet before getting a taxi to catch our flight. home from Bratislava. We also wanted to get changed in the toilets as we were wearing skiing outfits. The reception was unmanned - there was no toilet in the reception area and the toilets we found near the ski storage rooms were locked. We found a toilet, finally, that was unlocked by the swimming pool. My 9 year old daughter was in the toilet when a man working at the pool came and shouted at me and said give me 8 euros each. I explained that we had been staying at Safran and had checked out that morning. We had just come to pick up our luggage but the children needed the toilet before getting the taxi to catch our flight. There was a language barrier, which resulted in misunderstanding, and him being totally awful, abrupt and shouting to get out or pay 8 euros. Me and my family ended up getting changed out of our ski clothes in the corridor of the hotel, as we were sent out of the only toilet open, by the swimming pool area. This was not satisfactory and really poor customer service - it has put me off wanting to return to this hotel.
