Au Jeu de Paume

Super-cool a/c during the heatwave was a godsend. Room was big enough and well laid-out. Parking was free and simple, and they allowed me to store our boot-full of wine in a private area so I didn't have to carry it up to our room. Breakfast was delicious.

There was a bath with a shower attachment but no actual shower. It wasn't a problem for us but might be for some.

Everything! Accommodation, breakfast, hosts, location, all where perfect! It was a return visit/stay for us and Au Jeu de Paume was a 10 out of 10 again!! If you’re looking for lovely accommodation in Epernay look no further!

Nothing, it was perfect!

A beautiful old house, lovingly restored by the owner couple, in the heart of Epernay. House had lots of art on he walls and other interesting artifacts. Clearly the owners take great pride in their property. Bedroom was spacious; the shower and ac worked well Everything was squeaky clean. Location was fantastic. Parking in their courtyard was a big bonus. The owner was gracious enough to provide breakfast at 8 am (instead of their usual 8:30 am), as we had to drive to the airport for our flight. Our only regret is that we stayed just one night.

Everything! Lovely hosts, very charming property (which is super clean!) in a great central location for walking around the town but also in a very quiet side street, with beautiful very well appointed rooms and a truly excellent breakfast!! There’s also a little kitchenette/mini lounge area with tea, etc for guests to use.
