Not a big thing, but the stairs are a bit too narrow, not so convenient.

Very clean apartment. The old stone house is modern with a sence of historical features. You have the best view to Vrbnik from the balcony! Beaches, oldtown and supermarkt within walking distance or short drive by car. You can't do anything wrong, when you book this apartment!

All three rooms are connected with stairs. There are no doors to close. So you have to be quite, when your kids are sleeping. Otherwise you can sit at the balcony or veranda.

We recently stayed for about a week at the Stone House Knez in the small village of Vbrink on the island of Krk. The welcome from the owners, the Knez family, was very friendly. Extensive time was taken to explain the possibilities of the house and to show the area. The house is a clean and renovated traditional home on the island with fairly thick walls, which in summer has an cooling effect. The upper floor has air conditioning. The house is compact but equipped with all the necessities for a longer stay including a washing machine. The stairs from the living room to the lower floor and upper floor are narrow and steep. This makes the house less suitable for people with mobility problems. The interior is new as the house was put into use after renovation in 2018. Stone House Knez has three terraces! In front of the house there is a spacious covered terrace with lounge set and a table with chairs which gives shelter during sunny days but also during a rain shower. This terrace also gives a great view of the village, the bay area and from here you can also see the mainland. The second terrace is a roof terrace which can be reached from the back of the house. It lies in the sun for most of the day and is sheltered (out of sight). The Wi-Fi is of course free but also good. The TV reception (there are three in the Stone House with a 55 ”in the living room) is Croatian, but due to the good Wi-Fi we have been able to stream our own national provider. The location of Stone House Knez is on the outskirts of Vbrink with very limited local traffic. The location is therefore quiet. Next to the house lives a very friendly older lady who is very helpful in Croatian. We find Vbrink one of the nicer authentic villages on the island of Krk and is known for its viticulture (wine) and production. Expect no big nightlife here in the evening but mainly peace and quiet. With all this, the price-quality ratio of Stone House Knez can be called very good and we enjoyed stay.
