Exceptional stay- Pure paradise in Aracatiba

Our stay with Fernanda was absolutely perfect – truly a 10/10 experience! The room has an incredible view of the jungle, the sea, and the mountains across the bay – it honestly felt like waking up in paradise every morning. Fernanda welcomed us personally at the pier and was always available via WhatsApp, offering amazing tips for activities and local spots. But what made this place truly special was the warm, family-like atmosphere. Fernanda is such a special person – every day she prepared something new and homemade for breakfast, often using ingredients from her own garden. The breakfast was made with so much love and care – and it was delicious! There are only two rooms in the pousada, which makes the stay feel very personal and peaceful. Everything was spotless: Fernanda cleaned the rooms daily, changed our towels three times during our 5-day stay, and even made up our bed with fresh sheets after just two days. You can really see how much she values hygiene and individual care for her guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a beautiful, authentic, and lovingly run place to stay in Aracatiba – this is it! 🌿💛

Simple and clean accomodation in Ilha Grande

Owners were welcoming and helpful (for comunication we used Google translator). Comfy hammock in the terrace. Generally the accomodation is simple but you have all you need. The cleanliness was very good. Nice option was bar in room fridge for very good prices.

Lot of mosquitoes (but this is not a problem of accomodation but the environment). The room didnt have measures against the mosquitoes.

Sunsets and hummingbirds

We loved our stay here - Fernanda is such a kind and helpful host, and her breakfasts are delicious! She helped us with getting to Araçatiba (we got the cheaper local boat for R$40, called the barco Jean Filho on Cais dos Pescadores in Angra) and then planning our hikes around the island. She was also very patient with communicating with us via google translate! We loved chatting to her in the mornings, watching the hummingbirds in the garden and sunsets from the balcony. The bread fruit was a thoughtful addition to breakfast (we asked Wesley about the tree and it appeared at breakfast the next morning). It was great having the fridge in the room (fyi food on the island is pricey - we did a food shop in Angra before getting the boat). Obrigada Fernanda e Wesley!

The only thing we would change would be to have a bedside lamp and maybe cushions for the chairs outside. But as you can see from our review score this didn't affect our stay :)

the place was so amazing. The host are so kind and helpfull. her breakfast is suuuuper delicious, the cleaning are super and the seaview is sooo amazing. Couldn’t be happier with our stay here, would DEFINITELY recommend.😀 (Me and my boyfriend are students who are backpacking, so We first thought about staying there only 3 night beacsue of the price, but ended up staying there for 8 nights (totally worth it)

Perfeito!

Foi tudo excelente, pena que ficamos apenas uma noite! O quarto triplo era super espaçoso e limpo, banheiro amplo e uma varanda grande, perfeita para deitar na rede vendo o pôr do sol. Também havia uma mesa com cadeiras, muito útil para quem quiser comer ali no quarto (há serviços de delivery de refeições na ilha). Além disso, fomos muito bem recebidas pela proprietária e a comunicação com ela antes da nossa chegada foi ótima também, tirando todas as dúvidas. A pousada fica muito perto do cais, o que é conveniente para o momento de chegada e saída com a bagagem. Também fica a poucos minutos caminhando das praias de Araçatiba e Araçatibinha. O café-da-manhã era delicioso, com várias opções de pães e frios, frutas, sucos naturais, bolos fresquinhos em um ambiente lindo.

Me gusto todo. La atención de Fernanda fue excelente. Su marido nos espero en el muelle al llegar y nos llevo hasta la posada. Estuvieron atentos a nuestras necesidades todo el tiempo ( información- recomendaciones-), hasta me prepararon tapiocas, mermeladas y muffins sin gluten para el desayuno. La vista desde el balcón de la habitación es espectacular, directa al mar. Todo súper recomendable. La playa, el mar, la isla. Espero volver pronto. Y les recomiendo visitar y alojarse en la posada encanto do Pai. Gracias Fernanda por tu dedicación.

Realmente encantadora

La posada está bien ubicada, subiendo unos metros desde la playa por sendero pavimentado y escaleras. El alojamiento es modesto pero cómodo, la limpieza impecable. Fernanda es una anfitriona excelente! Nos contactó antes de la llegada para ir a recibirnos al muelle, siempre tuvo un trato cordial. Uno de los momentos que más disfrutamos fueron los desayunos exquisitos servidos personalmente por ella en su terraza, y su conversación amena. Nos brindó información invaluable sobre el lugar, las caminatas y los servicios. Nos sentimos mimados y muy a gusto!!

Pedaço do paraíso

A acomodação conta com duas suítes, no andar superior da casa da anfitriã Fernanda, que é simplesmente uma anfitriã nota mil. Ela faz de tudo para deixar os hóspedes se sentindo à vontade, em casa. Tomamos café da manhã na varanda da sua casa, com delícias preparadas diariamente por ela, fresquinhas. Deu dicas sobre a Ilha, ajudou a marcar passeios, nos buscou e levou no pier, que é bem próximo. A suíte tem uma vista lindíssima, de onde é possível assistir um pôr do sol indescritível, deitada na rede. Tudo incrível nos detalhes, tudo novinho, bem conservado, e extremamente limpo. Enfim, recomendo fortemente!!!

Importante atentar para dois detalhes: 1) a acomodação se trata de suítes, e não uma pousada (ou seja, não há estrutura fora do quarto). Porém o quintal é esta parte lindíssima da Ilha, Araçatiba! 2) há uma escada íngreme para chegar, possui calçamento e foi tranquilo subir e descer com o nosso filho pequeno, mas não é adequado para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida.

Fernanda ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Sie ist sehr aufmerksam, gab uns super Tipps und war immer da, wenn wir was brauchten. Das Zimmer und die ganze Pousada waren super sauber. Schöner Blick aufs Meer, gute Lage, gute Ausstattung, leckeres Frühstück. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Obrigada, Fernanda!

Het prachtige uitzicht en de rust. Zeer schone kamer en lekker ontbijt. Unieke locatie!

Moeilijke communicatie via google translate. Eigenaar deed erg z’n best maar op deze manier communiceren kost veel tijd. Wij kunnen ons in veel talen redelijk redden ook met handen en voeten maar dit was lastig.
