The apartment is located in the beautiful old town of the island town of Werder / Havel, in a completely renovated in 2016 old building. It has a kitchen-diner with kitchenette and a large dining area. There is a bedroom with walk-in closet, extra bed with cot possible, living room with comfortable double sofa bed, a bathroom and a terrace that can be used in our yard for barbecues.
The house is fully equipped with underfloor heating.
You are welcome to leave bicycles locked in our yard, of course to charge e bikes for free.
Werder / Havel is 15 km from the city of Potsdam and 40 km from Berlin. You can easily reach both from the city center Werder / Havel. Also for night owls is the good connection to Potsdam and Berlin, a very good alternative to the car. We are happy to give you information on local public transport.
Our clean Havel lakes with march sandy beaches will enchant you in spring and summer. A boat and bicycle rental incl. E-Bikes is open in about 500 m distance until the end of October, after that on request. The state of Brandenburg is celebrating the 200th with a theme year. Birthday of Theodor Fontane and a whole region is celebrating with good reason. Follow Fontane's descriptions with her own senses at exhibitions, theater, music, lectures, readings, bike rides or boat trips on the Havel. Visit historic sites or go hiking like Fontane. But our island city has its own flair, which is beautiful in spring and summer. In just 5 minutes you reach our bakery (Tue-Sun) and can provide you with breakfast rolls and delicious cakes. Restaurants by the water or in the historic old town are all within a 10-minute walk. Enjoy your holiday with a sunset on Havelufer.
Our region can be enchanted with endless mixed forests. Collecting wildlife observations or wild mushrooms (if there and with guidance) can quickly make your holiday an unforgotten experience.
Werder / Havel is a state-approved resort. For the use, the preservation and the improvement of the tourist infrastructure since 2014 in the municipality a Kurbeitrag is raised. In the city Werder / Havel a resort fee of 1.50 € per adult person and night is charged all year round. By paying the spa fee, you will receive a guest card entitling you to visit various facilities and events at discounted prices. This price is to be paid locally on arrival.
