Beautiful, comfortable and peaceful haven close to the medina. Soufiane could not have been more attentive and helpful, taking lots of time to help orient me within Fes so I could make the most of my stay, and the other staff were also wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and delicious, and my Queen room was superbly appointed. The on-site rooftop restaurant for dinner was also such an asset.
I found the medina itself overwhelming, but I think that is Fes! If you're a woman travelling alone, be sure to organise tours, guides and taxis (Dar Fes Tresor will help with this!), even if you're very accustomed to travelling independently. I didn't feel unsafe, but I did frequently feel uncomfortable and hassled. I was glad to have my beautiful room to retreat to!

This was my second stay in Fes, but my first stay at Dar Fes Tresor. I had visited the rooftop restaurant many times so I knew that I would enjoy the riad. My very generous room was on the ground floor, next to the courtyard where breakfast is served. Soufiane and Yousef were always available to help and answer questions.
You can easily arrange tours of the medina with Soukaina or explore at your own pace. My godfather and I truly enjoyed Glaoui Palace, a beautiful site that does not receive much attention.
Only that the stay was so short.
