The location, the bedding and the decoration.
We did not like the first room given because the window was very small and without a view (even if the decoration was really nice).
The new room given was very nice and brighter, but way more expensive (vs the first room and what we paid usually during the rest of the week). Considering we were the only ones in the whole building staying that night, we would have appreciated a discount since the upgrading would not have costed one penny to our host.
