The staff was excellent. Very helpful, took care of every need with a lot of sincerity. The food was very good. The plantation tour + lake + river visit was the best part. Make sure you leave enough time for the river.

The pool is much smaller than it looks in the photos. It's just a big bathtub. Still a lot of fun because it's right next to the forest. But not big enough for swimming. The rooms should have kettle and basic tea/coffee supplies. Also, minor point - but the decor is a little too all over the place. Prefer simpler more authentic decor

Swimming pool water was not clean bcoz of rain

Room was clean and fairly spacious.

- Deluxe queen room is wrongly described as having a double bed, single bed and sofa bed on Booking.com but it only has a double bed and a sofa bed which is narrower than a single bed (2.5ft) so I couldn't sleep comfortably at all. - The owner's poor Labrador was kept locked in a bare concrete cage for our entire stay (see photo). She said the dog was ill, which makes it even worse in my opinion! - Staff at the restaurant at breakfast brought the wrong dishes multiple times. - We didn't understand the fact that you had to order by midday for dinner even for standard items like noodles. We opted out of dinner on the second day as it wasn't to our taste. - The view from the rooms is just of the car park so there isn't really a nice spot to sit and enjoy the view of the surroundings. Seating at the viewpoint and pool is inadequate. - I asked for an extra pillow as they only gave one thin pillow on the sofa bed. They gave a dirty pillow with a pillowcase that was too small for the pillow (see photo). -WiFi is very temperamental and worse than everywhere else we stayed in the mountains. -No tea/coffee/kettle in the rooms and there is a charge if you order tea/coffee
