About this house rental
A cozy home perched on a bluff with a pool extending right off the front deck. Beautiful views of Kootenay lake, Duncan river and Selkirk mountains. A hot tub is right next to the pool. An amazing 30 foot pond and 16 foot waterfall is located just around the corner from the pool. Forty-eight solar panels above the pond provide power to the house. Eighty two acres of land ensures total privacy. Wildlife abound. Over 50 hummingbirds patron the many feeders around the sundeck. The house is rustic with many windows and an infrared sauna. Lots of boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking and natural hot springs in the surrounding area. Kayak, SUP and bike rentals available in Kaslo. World class alpine hiking and backpacking. There are a large variety of hikes for all levels. Horseback riding. Habitat reserve, bird sanctuary and wetland 5 minutes away. Great photography everywhere. Kootenay Lake is 5 minutes away and Duncan Lake 15 minutes. World class music festival on August long weekend in nearby historic village of Kaslo 35 minutes away. Visit the vibrant cultural city of Nelson only 1 1/2 hours away. Golfing available in Kaslo. Check out our pictures. They say it all!

My family had an amazing time. This truly felt like paradise. The property is very well kept, It has everything you need and is away from all of the craziness of city life. I can see us becoming regular guests

We were looking for a destination that was quiet and offered us some solitude. We could not have found a better location!! It was peaceful, relaxing and very welcoming. We were there just a couple of days, and it felt like we were there for a long time. The amenities and the home are very well-maintained. But I cannot describe the views.....the views are SPECTACULAR !!! Thank you to the hosts, very open and transparent throughout the process.

We spent 3 nights at the rental and the views are breathtaking! The owners are great with communication and easy to get ahold of. There is sooo much privacy and we loved all the little touches inside and out. Interesting and unique decorations inside and there are 2 large gardens, a pond with fish and a waterfall. We ate beets, carrots and some broccoli from the garden. We saw deer in the yard and a wild turkey. The rental is VERY well stocked with anything you may need. I’d recommend this property if you want a little trip to get away from it all and enjoy beautiful view and a great get away with all the comforts!

This rental was beautiful and was stocked with everything needed and more. The hosts were great to communicate with and quick to respond. You can tell the effort they have put into making this rental a beautiful vacation. The area is lovely and there is much to do both at the cabin and it's surroundings.
