Open fire , 4 good sized double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Close to Donegal Town, local shops close by. House was lovely and clean with fully kitted out kitchen.
We spent a lot of time at the house due to bad weather, with 4 young adults with us they found the Internet poor and the TV was not a smart TV, so very limited for connectivity and casting from mobile devices the sound quality on the TV was poor. The double bedrooms had only one bedside unit, we were able to bring in a child seat to use which was handy also the double beds had only 2 pillows per bed, would expect 4. We found the road noise was constant day and night due to the proximity of the N15, The oven only had one shelf which was difficult when cooking a dinner for 6. On arrival we wanted to light the fire, had to go to local garage to buy fire lighters, coal and matches, this is the first property we have stayed at where fuel was not provided for an open fire even just to get started.

The location of this property was excellent. 5 minutes drive from Donegal Town and its choice of bars and restaurants. This area is very central for sightseeing in North Sligo and County Donegal. The Gables was spacious, clean, well equipped and perfect for our needs.

Nice house. Plenty of space. Decent location, but could not walk to most things due to major road with no sidewalks.
Not enough hot water. We had six people and only two had sufficient hot water for showers even though the two that did, took fairly quick showers. No coffee maker available. No paper goods like paper towels available.
