A house where the soul rests

A cozy house with everything you need for comfort. A charming fireplace together with a fresh beautiful renovation create a wonderful atmosphere of peace and enjoyment of time. On the second floor there are additional curtains for a comfortable sleep. The owner is a big-hearted person, we felt like welcome guests.

Beautiful

Very beautiful house with a lot of space, very clean with the good furniture. Located in the heart of Tara, if you have a car there are a lot of place to see, viewpoints, nature, lake, river, etc. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, with quick responses

For a big company (I was with 4 friends) the boiler for hot water was small. BBQ zone could be bigger

Beautiful cottage in the mountains

my family loved this cottage house, it has beautiful views and everything you need for comfortable and relaxing stay. Hosts are wonderful and helpful, the area is also great for exploring Tara mountain, it has few restaurants within walking distance and a supermarket. We would love to come back again

Beautiful base camp for exploring Tara

Beautiful home in the middle of the Tara National Park. Centrally located to explore lots of amazing hikes and views. Indoor fire was lovely, plus the chance to have a bonfire outside with the kids. Really great hosts too, accommodating and friendly. Nice local restaurants to eat at, and a local shop for the essentials.

The view is good, but not stunning as the house is set slightly back from the edge of the hill and you can’t see the water from the house. It’s only a short walk or drive to achieve the full panoramic view, but just not from the house. Also, there are no blinds on the top windows so there is a bit of a privacy issue with the house just down the valley. Nothing that should stop you staying here, but just something to be aware of (particularly in summer if you don’t like the light flooding in too early).

A place that met our expectations

I would definitely recommend staying a few nights at this house if you want to relax in the mountains. The hostess Bojana helped us a lot and even gave us warm clothes because we didn't expect it to be cold in the area - she literally saved us. Thank you, Bojana!

Best place to stay on Tara national park

Location is in village Sekulic one and a half kilometar from Zaovine lake I think by walk. Perfect for hiking, sightseeing... Accommodation is beautiful like it is described in pictures. Hosts are great also, very helpful and kind. We were in summer days here, nature was beautiful. But definitely will visit this place again at winter....

Nearby restaurant "Kod Bana" is pretty expensive for what it has to offer, if you are not up to cooking I would suggest to drive off a couple of kilometres to Mitrovac village or restaurant "Tarsko Jezero"...

The open space design of the cabin was really nice and comfy, it gives a really nice overall feeling of space breathing together with the natural environment. A lot of light and big windows oriented toward the mountains are great. The front deck is perfect for the evening stargazing. Soundproof and really quiet for the sleeping. It was very clean and the hosts are very friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay in Planinska Koliba Exclusive. It is beautifully designed mountain house, with great views, solitary, yet perfectly located to explore natural beauty of the Tara mountain. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Highly recommended for couples or 2 couples. we would do it again for sure

The host is very welcoming and kept a bottle of wine and a rose on the bed since they knew that we are getting engaged in Tara. it was a nice surprise. the house is fully equipped, very modern and clean. Big yard around the house, i bet it would be amazing during summertime. Overall we loved it

nothing major to mention, the road to the house is a bit tricky, but nothing to be worried about.
