Kupres is a simple and quiet little town. We loved it. Especially because we're from a city with not a lot of green space or backyard space. Walking through town is safe and easy (it's not very big), and there are some beautiful views of the valley on the outskirts of town (about 8 minutes away, walking). The apartment is also very functional (oven, stove, kettle, enough hot water for a family of four). Black-out shutters on the windows also made it easy to keep kids asleep as long as they needed to be. They were relaxed about our dog even though I forgot to mention she was coming with us.
We used it as a base for skiing at Adria and it worked perfectly. Far enough to not be ridiculously overpriced but close enough to get to Adria very quickly in the morning. The area right next to Adria thinks they are Vail, Colorado, whereas Kupres is way more affordable and has easy access to the market and a few rudimentary restaurants.
The kitchen, living space, and dining area are all in one room and young kids struggle to keep food over the table without chairs that can scoot in under the table. It's not a problem if your kids are relatively clean, which mine aren't. I'm not sure how to fix that though because the couches are very comfortable and the set up is great for unwinding, playing games, and relaxing after hiking/ skiing.

Bardzo czysty i zadbany apartament. Właściciele bardzo uprzejmi. Wyposażenie 100 %. Blisko market. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni i Polecamy. Podróżowaliśmy rodziną z 3 dzieci (11 lat, 9 lat, 7 miesięcy).
Blisko Split i Makarska. Polecamy restauracje Kupres, pysznie i tanio. Chętnie kiedyś wrócimy.
