A decent 2-level appt at the beach.

It's a nice 2-level apartment in a low-rise condo at a guarded property with an access to a nice small beach. A main mall in Angra dos Reis is in a 10-15 mins ride for dining and shopping. The water at the beach is super-warm like in your bath tub. Small and mid-size fish are all over you don't need snorkel mask. There is a coffee shop next door a few steps down the road for breakfast/juices/beer.

The host tried to be helpful and sent over a location from the Google Maps. But I am using the GPS app on the phone so when pasting the location received from the host to the GPS app it took me to a different location (on the same peninsula). So I was circling around 1.5hrs until I typed the address from the booking receipt, and it took me right to the property. When I explained to the host he was trying to help when it was not asked for, so it added more confusion rather than help, he became defensive. There is no soap/shampoo provided by the property. I don't know if they are don't have to provide it or if it is a complimentary, but this is the first property among of all of my trips that is not providing any soap or shampoo, and it is at the beach where you swim, and your hair will be very oily. There is a restaurant on-prem which is better to avoid. Their food is not the best. Also, there is a private "restaurant" at a residential property down the road best is not to waste your time for. So, for any dining the best is to go by a car to the main shopping mall.

LOVED IT....

There is a lot to like about this unit. The location was fabulous! The unit was huge. Lots of space to spread out and relax. It is in a gated community which is nice. Parking was easy. The host is very helpful and communitive. The kitchen is full-sized and spacious. Lots of workspaces. The area is quiet, although there is a little road noise. 15 min walk to town along the sea on a dedicated walking path. The host provided beach chairs which is helpful. Overall I would definitely stay again primarily because of the location and size of the unit.

A few things could be better. The linens are in poor shape. The bed was not made up when I arrived. Wifi did not have a string signal and would drop often. It would not be a good unit to try and work from. Sliding doors and windows don't lock but the area seemed safe and is in a gated complex so this was not an issue for me.

Apto Angra dos Reis - Fenomenal

Apartamento em condomínio fechado - pé na areia, de dois pavimentos, maravilhoso em todos os detalhes. Limpeza espetacular, roupas de cama e banho de primeira linha. A localização é fenomenal, próximo ao centro, Colégio Naval e na praia onde se localiza ainda há o táxi boat, que tem levará para explorar algumas ilhas. Padaria, mercado e restaurante ao lado.

Boa estadia

O apto é bem localizado e espaçoso. Tem geladeira, micro, forno, utensílios... O anfitrião é muito atencioso. O banheiro próximo à cozinha foi reformado e está uma graça!! A varanda é bem agradável, bem arejada.Tem corda de chão, o que é bem prático. O apto é pertinho da praia, tem estacionamento e até restaurante no condomínio!

O apto é muito quente, mesmo com os ventiladores, para períodos de calor intenso, fica complicado. O ideal seria ter ar condicionado . Aí seria nota 10!!!!

Muy cómoda estadía en este alojamiento

La ubicación está muy bien. El departamento está dentro de un condominio que tiene una salida a la playa de Bonfim. El mar no me parece adecuado para bañarse porque hay muchas embarcaciones amarradas y la arena está sucia con petróleo. Lo interesante es que las lanchas de las empresas que contratamos para hacer las excursiones nos vinieron a buscar al muelle de la playa, a pocos metros del alojamiento. Otra ventaja es que hay una línea de ómnibus que tiene parada en la puerta del condominio y que llega hasta el centro de Angra dos Reis. También se puede ir caminando hasta el centro, es un lindo paseo que se hace corto, a pesar de que pueda demandar una media hora. El lugar es muy tranquilo. El departamento es enorme para 2 personas, realmente tiene todas las comodidades. Nosotros nos quedamos más que conformes con la elección. Superó nuestras expectativas. Los propietarios tuvieron un estrecho contacto con nosotros, también se encargaron de llamar a un taxi para que no venga a buscar y llevar a la terminal de ómnibus.

No tenemos nada negativo que decir respecto del alojamiento. Angra dos Reis no es una ciudad atractiva, pero está provista de todo tipo de negocios, por lo que no nos faltó nada de lo que requerimos.
