It's a nice 2-level apartment in a low-rise condo at a guarded property with an access to a nice small beach. A main mall in Angra dos Reis is in a 10-15 mins ride for dining and shopping. The water at the beach is super-warm like in your bath tub. Small and mid-size fish are all over you don't need snorkel mask.
There is a coffee shop next door a few steps down the road for breakfast/juices/beer.
The host tried to be helpful and sent over a location from the Google Maps. But I am using the GPS app on the phone so when pasting the location received from the host to the GPS app it took me to a different location (on the same peninsula). So I was circling around 1.5hrs until I typed the address from the booking receipt, and it took me right to the property. When I explained to the host he was trying to help when it was not asked for, so it added more confusion rather than help, he became defensive.
There is no soap/shampoo provided by the property. I don't know if they are don't have to provide it or if it is a complimentary, but this is the first property among of all of my trips that is not providing any soap or shampoo, and it is at the beach where you swim, and your hair will be very oily.
There is a restaurant on-prem which is better to avoid. Their food is not the best. Also, there is a private "restaurant" at a residential property down the road best is not to waste your time for. So, for any dining the best is to go by a car to the main shopping mall.
