Marilyn Appartments

GREAT LOW-BUDGET PLACE TO STAY! The Marilyn Apartments are very close - a 5 minute walk - to the water and many high-end shops. There's convenient parking, a clean room, an electric induction hotplate with pots & pans, and an electric kettle. The apartment is attached to Beer & Burgers Bonaire Grill, which has great food and excellent staff. The bed was comfortable to sleep in too. We didn't use it, but there's a decent sized modern smart TV mounted on the wall across from the bed.

The dry season meant donkeys in town, which meant there was donkey poop close to the door to our apartment. That's not the owner's fault of course, but was disconcerting. The headboard of the bed was uncomfortable, so my lovely wife got all the pillows behind her to fill in the gap between the mattress and the wall, and I sat in one of the chairs in the room. We were told in advance that if we wanted to use the air conditioning in the room, we'd have to pay an additional $6USD per day, which was fine for us (temps in the 80's) but might annoy folks who don't see that mentioned in the Booking description.

De locatie was echt ideaal. Je was overal dichtbij. Het was mooi schoon
