    Stayed here from Oct16-18. On the first night of checking in (Room 1306), I found bed bugs crawling over my pillow and underneath it as well. Some bed bugs also on the bed sheet after lifting the duvet cover. I brought it up to the staff. He came up to look at well and agreed that it was a big issue. He got me a different room on a different floor and apologized for the inconvenience. I could not sleep that night. I asked for a refund of one night. The staff refused, saying they would have to check with the manager first. Did not get a response, so I went back the next day, and another staff member told me to deal with it though Agoda. According to Agoda, it's up to the hotel's responsibility. Seems like no one wants to take accountability for the issue. Will not be staying here again or book through Agoda again.

    Stayed at Soravit for 2 nights. We were so glad we were able to get an early check-in and was upgraded. Timothy was very polite, quick and efficient. Room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint is that there is nowhere to put our personal effects in the bathroom. Would definitely recommend.

    The hotel is quite decent; objectively speaking, it offers good value for the price and its location. However, there is one issue that the hotel fails to disclose upfront: a mandatory 500 HKD cash deposit. This can catch guests off guard and, worse, make them feel as though they are being judged. If this policy were clearly stated from the start, guests could be better prepared. My own experience was particularly difficult: as my trip was coming to an end, I had exactly 510 HKD in cash left. I explained my situation and asked if I could use Apple Pay or a credit card (Mastercard/Visa) instead, but the two young staff members—a man and a woman—remained adamant and refused to offer any assistance. While I understand the policy, the interaction left me feeling uncomfortable—as if my character or behavior were being judged by the staff. It makes me wonder: how do they handle situations where a guest doesn't have enough cash on hand—even when the room has already been paid for? Do they simply expect the guest to scramble to find cash, or do they deny check-in and force the guest to resolve the matter through Agoda?
