Mandawa Kothi

Fue nuestro primer hotel en la India así que era nuestra primera impresión. No defraudó. Es un Haveli restaurado muy bonito con unas habitaciones grandes y cómodas. La ubicación es perfecta para conocer Mandawa. Comimos y cenamos ahí y todo riquísimo!! El butter chicken es espectacular!! El jardín muy bonito, por las noches está iluminado y se puede cenar fuera, la piscina estupenda y la temperatura perfecta para relajarse tras un largo día de viaje, el primer contacto con el calor y la visita por la ciudad. Lo mejor lo dejo para el final......tiene un rooftop al que llegas subiendo unas escaleras muy estrechas pero vale la pena!! Se ve todo Mandawa y disfrutamos de nuestra primera puesta de sol India con unas cervecitas..........totalmente mágico e impresionante!!!

Creo recordar que no tenían tumbonas en la piscina. Pero estaban de obras y posiblemente era por no estorbar a los obreros. En cualquier caso se hubiesen agradecido

A beautiful oasis away from the chaos that is India in the big cities. Beautiful location, surrounded by old havelis and beautiful frescoes. The outdoor space in the courtyards are great for relaxing in. Lots of seating and daybeds around the pool.

Beautiful garden and poolside Large room Comfortable beds Great shower No stairs to reach the room Friendly staff Firepit at our table during dinner, great for the cold nights. The food was tasty.

Noisy guests, partying till late, nobody of the staff reacted (had to ask these guests myself to be more quiet or party elsewhere in the big outdoor area, twice. It didn't feel comfortable to have to do this ourselves). The route description on booking is not correct, ask for directions Food and drink prices are quite high, but not extreme Breakfast was slow. Maybe speed things up, because many tourists are on a time schedule ;-)
