7 / 10Good·Oct 2026
The room was grotty, but with a distinct charm. The breakfast area was really nice; decent CR breakfast, good to get you going in the morning. The owner Robert and his mother were very helpful and attentive.
Actually Puntarenas is a bit of a dump, was probably a happening place in the 1950-70s or so, but now in desperate need of an impulse to kick start it.
