The room is cleaned well. I renewed my stay and did 4 nights in total so it's certainly not a bad place, especially for the price. It is also close to some excellent Indian street food which is also very cheap. The stall right outside is very good and there's a Michelin recommended samosa stall on the road and a Michelin recommended restaurant maybe 6 minutes walk. However, windows aren't sealed, nor are they proper windows but some kind of frosted plastic. It lets in a lot of noise from the local mosque during the calls to prayer which can be very early in the morning. The bathroom toilet leaks, not sewage water but water from the flush but it runs onto the floor and drips down the drain making a loud sound. There is also no hot water in the shower and they don't provide toilet paper. The receptionist disappears at lunch time despite needing to give her your room key for cleaning if you request it (it's not done every day which is fair for the price). Even at reception when checking in water leaked on my head as an upstairs room was leaking through the ceiling. They need to do some basic maintainance. Not only is it bad for guests but they are totally neglecting the building. Other than fixing the leaks and sealing the windows to make them noise proof I'd recommend improving the curtains as the room never gets properly dark at night. Guests getting a good night sleep is a big part of what makes a hotel good. I'd recommend staying if you need somewhere very cheap but perhaps 2 nights is more than enough. If they took on board this feedback it would make it an excellent place to stay. I worry if they don't fix the leaks the place will be uninhabitable in the not-too-distant future.
