Quiet Ground Floor Mews Flat and parking

Espacioso y limpio. Sofá cama cabíamos dos personas sin problema. A 25 minutos andando del centro con buena conexión trasporte público.

Didn't need to contact the host to get the keys because it was fully independent. Very close to a bus station which made travelling in and out of town really easy and quick. Quiet neighborhood so we didn't even notice the busy town and loud night life of the Fringe. Comfortable beds, even the pull-out couch. All the cooking necessities to make meals at home if you don't want to go out. Nice and updated bathroom with a washer/dryer combo. We had some difficulty getting out clothes to dry but it was nice to have in a pinch. The pull-out couch and bedroom were separated enough to feel private. The host dropped by to make sure we had everything we needed and was very kind. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

The house was easy to find and access, and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome note upon arrival. The home was well equipped, and the sofa bed had already been prepared for our 12-year-old, which was a nice touch. There were also some sweet treats left in the kitchen, which we found very kind. While the location is slightly outside the city centre, it’s well connected by bus routes that make getting around quite convenient. We also enjoyed walking through the nearby park and exploring the area on foot as we made our way into the city.

The house had only one old window that was difficult to open, so the air inside felt a bit stale at times. It appears to be a popular listing with a steady turnover of guests, which may have affected the thoroughness of the cleaning. There were some leftover crumbs in the toaster/kettle area, and I noticed dust in the corners and inside the wardrobe, which triggered my allergies. The washer/dryer was the most challenging part for me — it had visible dust on the glass door and a huge buildup of dirt around the inner tube lining. I ended up needing to clean it twice before it felt usable, which was tiring after a full day out. I had reached out in advance to highlight the importance of cleanliness due to my allergies, but unfortunately, it didn't seem to be addressed. Also, with the sofa bed set up, the living area became quite tight, which made it less comfortable for three people during our three-night stay.
