Casa longa

An immaculate little hotel, conveniently located within the walls of the old town. We enjoyed the flexibility of being able to make our own breakfast, coffee, with a selection of fresh fruit, cheeses, cold meats and yoghurt along with a selection of breads and pastries provided in the well equipped kitchen. Although it was still quite chilly in the mornings, we chose to eat al fresco on the hotel’s pretty patio.

The hotel provides a nice selection of breakfast foods for guests to help themselves to, from croissants, to cakes, conserves, butter, cheese, cold meats, yoghurts and juices, but such a shame that so much of it comes individually portioned and packaged in single use plastic. The self service model of serving breakfast, while convenient for guests and hosts alike, could do with an update to reduce the plastic waste.

The patio was such a nice space to have all to ourselves - from the balcony above and sitting on it below, for evening drinks or for the lovely breakfast.

Very well situated - a short walk to the main sites of Cordoba, the Casa Longa is a local style of house with a traditional plant and foilage filled courtyard which added to the charm of the location. A basic self serve breakfast was included which meant we could head straight out to see Cordoba
