A lovely apartment and location in downtown Bergamo.

The property was v clean and well equipped with everything for cooking. Filter for water was excellent. It was obvious the Owners care very much for the environment. The heated floors were so nice. The area is very safe with plenty of Cafes and restaurants in the area.

The coach could do with upgrading but I’m being picky . Everything was v good.

Lovely stay

A lovely comfortable apartment with everything we needed - beautifully clean. Bergamo has an old town up the hill - the apartment is in a very convenient location, in the lower town, near to the main shopping area and train/bus station. Valentina kept in touch, gave us lots of information and was very pleasant and helpful.

Very nice apartment in central location. Valentina the host was really friendly and helpful with everything.

There were 5 different doors that you had to get through each time you entered and exited the apartment, this was only a minor inconvenience though.

Amazing host

Lovely little flat. Very clean with all the facilities. We’re a small family so it was perfect for us. Having two air cons in the flat also helped as we slept really well.

Casa vacanza Valentina is a lovely place in the heart of Bergamo. We enjoyed our stay really much. We got everything that we needed during our stay, and Valentina was always ready to help! She is really kind and a great host.

Best home from home in Bergamo

What a fabulous experience from start to finish. Valentina was an attentive host and nothing was too much trouble. She allowed us to leave our luggage at the apartment as we arrived earlier than the check in time which was really helpful. The apartment was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The air conditioning was welcomed during the heatwave and much appreciated especially after a long day exploring. The shower was super and the toiletries were a bonus! We did not cook in the apartment but used some of the equipment for snacks and you couldn't wish for any more. We loved the little cat who lives next door, very shy but we did catch a few glimpses on our way in and out. Bergamo is a fantastic city and Valentina'place is in a great location to explore the surrounding Milan area. Close to trains and buses and the funicular up to the old town. We hope to return at another time to enjoy some of the things we missed this time. Thankyou Valentina! ❤️

Modern, clean and fully equiped apartment in good location, close to many bars, restaurants, shops, pharmacy ... Owner Valentina was really helpfull, she also let us leave our luggage before check in time. Communication with her was amazing, she gave us many usefull tips what to do in this area. It was a short, but a perfect stay. Valentina was a lovely host and gave us a lot of useful tips for Bergamo. Apartment had everything you can imagine for a comfortable visit. It was very nicely decorated, with lots of personal touches. Everything was spotless clean. Location was perfect for catching the bus to the airport, short walk from the train station, as well as near lots of restaurants & shops of downtown Bergamo. Comfortable bed and great shower (very nice toiletries). There was a tasty coffee for the machine too. Very well-explained check-in & check-out with clear contact from Valentina prior of our arrival. Wish we could have stayed longer, but would definitely book again when in Bergamo in the future! :)

Black-out blind in the bedroom might be useful to some people if they are sensitive to a bit of light coming from the outside. We slept with no disturbance though. There is 1 flight of stairs that might cause an issue to travellers with heavy suitcases, but we only had backpacks with us. I would also prefer a soft-close cupboards in the kitchen as I kept accidently making noise, but not too much of an issue and it might be me just being used to that system.

Couldn't imagine a better place to stay

Spacious and clean apartment, close to city center and all important attractions. Host was very communicative and helpful. The place was very comfortable for 2 ppl but a third person could easily fit it additionally as there is a big couch with a TV in the living room.

Everything was incredible. Every little detail. First of all, the owners. They made our stay easier, helping us from the very beggining. The location was perfect near the services. The apartment had all the possible appliances you need including eg coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. The lighting in the apartment was best I have encountered. Also as a high end speciality there was electronic window in the bathroom. The host left some water and Coke to the fridge. Also plenty of good quality coffee pods were provided for.

As one of previous review states there is a bar with very noisy people oppistite the apartment. The noise continues late there. Also the street has some traffic from early hours (from 5 AM). All these noises may be blocked by shutting the windows. However the apartment has no other type ventilation apart from opening the windows. With street side windows closed the air in the bedroom was not very fresh during the night so we preferred to open the windows for some time during the quiet hours of the night. If you are a light sleeper or need fresh air to sleep I would not recommend the apartment for longer stay. Also the bed mattress was of low quality so I was happy to have some extra cushion with me in order to be able to sleep properly in a side position. I did not find the host very polite by starting to ask before we had set a foot to apartment itself out time of departure. Also there was "how are you message" one and half hour before the check out time. I do not now about Italy but in Northern Europe this kind of hospitality is not appreciated. Also we did not receive any kind of receipt "riscetta fiscale" of paying the city tax (18 Euros for two persons for three nights). Also the host accepted only cash and had no change whatever. Normally I use Booking,com to avoid the mentioned kind of practices in order to have a stress free stay.
