Kanonika Homes City Apartment

We had a wonderful stay at Kanonika Apartments! Stavros is everything you could wish for in a host: kind, very helpful, and always quick to respond. The apartment is centrally located in Thessaloniki and has a lovely terrace with a sea view. We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What really impressed me was the quality of everything in the apartment and the thoughtful attention to detail, including the supplies provided. Everything felt carefully chosen to make us feel welcome and at home. We loved our time here and would happily return!

Just a couple of practical things to keep in mind: as the building is in the city centre, there is no dedicated parking, so we had to look for a space each time we returned. The apartment is on the sixth floor, and the lift is small, accommodating only two people. As someone with claustrophobia, I personally found it a little uncomfortable. But, both points relate to the building and its central location, and not the apartment itself, and neither took away from our wonderful stay.

Das Apartment hat eine sehr gute, zentrale Lage und war trotzdem angenehm ruhig. Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Kindern dort und hatten ausreichend Platz. Die Ausstattung war gut, es gibt einen Aufzug und auch das WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei. Besonders positiv war außerdem der sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter.

Im zweiten Schlafzimmer gab es leider keine Klimaanlage, sondern nur einen Ventilator, was im August etwas unangenehm war. Außerdem sind Parkplätze in der direkten Umgebung sehr begrenzt. Es gibt zwar kleinere private Parkmöglichkeiten, diese waren jedoch häufig belegt. Eine gute und sichere Alternative ist das städtische Parkhaus, das allerdings etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt liegt.
