The retreat is located in a beautiful area and the grounds are very spacious. The decor of the hotel and our room was fabulous. Unfortunately it was a bit cold and we did not take advantage of the pool. We had a 4 course dinner at the hotel which was delicious and their was a wide selection for breakfast.

Beautiful location and amenities, really stunning outside. The rooms were fine, but the communal areas are really exceptional
The staff (bar one) were quite rude which really impacted our stay. We had a full blackout with no water or electricity for nearly 12 hours, and there was no communication, apologies and we felt like we were intruding on their personal home.
