Hurlingham Bed and Breakfast

This was my second visit to London. I don't really remember how was my first one as I got fever and stayed whole weekend at B&B. So this time, I really enjoyed it. I was back from London yesterday, and my stay at this location was really wonderful. Very cozy English style house carefully maintained by the hostess, Guilly. She was very much helpful and gave me many useful advices. What I loved was the room, equipement, staying experience like "English resident", breakfast and easy access. I booked this time a room with shower as I as solo and rather short stay, but the one with bathroom/tub was really nice too. When I will be back with my husband, I will book this one. For those who are not familiar to this city, like me, the location seems not very in central when you check on the map. But in fact, it's really well located. For a lady solo trip (like my case), this place is highly recommended. To go to Picadilly, Fortnum & Mason for example, it's direct by bus and you can enjoy the city scape on the way. The best thing I would like to recommend (in fact, it is the hostess's advice) is taking Uber boat, either from or to Putney (very close to Hurlingham Bed and Breakfast and starting/terminal stop). I visited different places during the day and went to Canary Whart (which is stunning place I have never imagined also for London) and took Uber Boat to go back Putney (from this stop to Hurlingham Bed and Breakfast is even walking distance). I enjoyed the whole London including London Tower, Bridge, different wharfs, modern buildings etc. Since it's covered, weather and temperature don't care. (you can buy tickets with credit card like other public transfer). When you are back from underground station, bus or Uber Boat stop, Fishers (19 Fulham High St.), specialized fish & chips, is good choice for both of eat there or to go. Quality of food is very good and generous, plus staffs are so nice.

Not relly. I could complete my main purpose to visit the exhibition at the Design Museum "Blitz: the club that shaped the 80s" and had very nice Spring weather even at very beginning of March with Magnolia everywhere!

Gilly is een geweldige gastvrouw. Ze maakt het ontbijt sochtends vers voor je klaar. En verteld over de omgeving, de beste restaurants, vervoer, en alles wat handig is om te weten in Londen. Ze zorgt echt voor je. Bedden waren goed, maar niet voor al te lange mensen. Gilly is a great hostess. She prepares breakfast fresh for you in the morning. And told about the area, the best restaurants, transport, and everything useful to know in London. She really cares for you.

We chose this specific accommodation for our honeymoon trip, based on the excellent reviews and the beautiful look it had in the pictures we saw... And it turns out we made a fantastic choice! Our room was wonderful, cozy, and spotlessly clean, with great bedding and everything we needed. Gilly is a brilliant host who made us feel completely at home and helped us a lot with organising our trip by suggesting places and shops to visit. The breakfast, lovingly prepared by Gilly herself each morning, was exceptional and delicious, with lots of options and a superb porridge that we highly recommend 🤗 Everything was perfect, we will definitely choose it again and we wholeheartedly recommend it!!!

Lovely bed and breakfast in a beautiful, safe, quiet neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Easy access to bus lines and the tube, as well as many things in walking distance. Gilly was kind and helpful in suggesting places to go and things to do. She also prepares a delicious breakfast!
