Where do I start - it was filthy I mean it hadn’t been cleaned in forever, there was a mouldy smell too and the kitchen was unusable and needs environmental health intervention

I braced myself a bit because of some reviews, but my experience was better than expected.

The room was clean. Public transport is easily reachable, and the hotel is close to the city centre. There are shops close by. Although it was a tad bit cumbersome, I liked the no personnel check-in system. It was a bit confusing as to whether one has to check out using the terminal as well, or if it is enough to just put the room card in the container.

Sometimes, the taps in the bathroom released a little water when the facilities were used by the people in the other rooms of the building. The floors were somewhat creaky in the halls and corridors.

Traumatic

The hotel was cheap, but for a reason.

Someone knocked on our window in the evening which was very scary. The room was not clean, and there were spiders a lot. Would not recommend. No staff in the hotel lobby and check-in and -out was difficult.

Apart from no kettle, a pleasant, comfortable stay!

The room was clean, we saw the cleaning staff and the lady was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, the mattress was a little hard but not uncomfortable. The room could definitely do with a kettle with tea and coffee, there was a kettle in reception with not very much to offer between the hours of 9am-6pm. That was the only downside for us, everything else was exactly what we needed.

Impolite Staff- Dirty Rooms

The Apartment had bed bugs and when we questioned and requested for another apartment, the property manager said they will call the police since we were making a fuss about it. Ofcourse we will make a fuss when we pay a premium amount and get bed bugs. They were extremely rude and impolite. I would not recommend this property to anyone. No Refund was received

Our room was very spacious, clean and modern. Parking was free, close to the entry.

We came in late, automated key fetching worked great and room was well prepared, same for early checkout. No direct contact to staff needed. Luckily there was also a free parking spot on the street around the corner.

The right side of Hamburg

Nice and calm nebourhood, it was easy to find a parking spot infromt of the hotel. All the instructions was exact and easy to follow. The property was clean and the stuff was nice.

No airconditioning, it was a little bit hot, but we open the window and problem was solved.

Comfortable stay at Urban House Hotel

The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The room was also very comfortable which was great.

The WiFi wasn't too good. It kept cutting out in the room and seemed to only work in the reception area. Also the WiFi was for mobile phones only.

Passable

If you can't guarantee a parking lot, do not promise to give one. Or just delete the option in the description. I booked the hotel based on the free private parking lot, 22:00 at night i arrived and find out i have to find a parking in the street (10min walking) and walk back with 2 luggages. As i called the landlord and told that your parking is full and i don't have a place , the answer was : find one in the street, bye.

Nice small hotel

The hotel was nice, in a calm neighborhood, a bit far from the city center. I got "Dubai" room. It was warm, with big windows and soft bed. If you want to stay near Wilhelmsburg or Vettel area, it's totally recommended!

The heating towel rack and the hair dryer in the WC hadn't been cleaned and were full of dust. Also the stuff wasn't very fluent in English so the communication wasn't always good.

A total catch of price-quality, even above.

The location is very convenient, just a couple of bus stops to get to the nearest S-Bahn station and then to the port or to the centre of town. Clean modern room, very warm, the staff is friendly. There is small but private parking next door, right over the corner. Basically, there is absolutely everything you need to for a short-term trip into the city.

I did not find any drawbacks.

ok for the money

nothing fancy but does the job. available parking in the street and a few spot behind the property. there is a great Turkish cafe for breakfast nearby! Lavender Cafe

toooooo noisy. we could hear the neighbors…. also the heating was making Sounds. some of the furniture needs updating.

Curtains where partly broken, shower as well. Floor was loud, so you could here every one.
