Villa Montanha, 4 Bedroom Villa, with swimming pool, loungers and alfresco dining, 20 min walk to the beautiful Praia da Luz Beach, Shops, Bars and Restaurants!

Large home in a convenient location with a spectacular pool. Decorated beautifully and fit our needs for our family perfectly.

No trash bags or extra toilet paper. When traveling for 14 hours the last thing we want to do is go find a store to buy paper products. Extra towels would also be suggested. Also we didn’t know how to use the appliances. Being from the US I would suggest a short instruction manual for the stove, washer and dryer.

The villa was very well appointed with a beautiful swimming pool. A short taxi ride ( more than 10min walk!) was all that was needed to many splendid restaurants.

Unfortunately there was a new large villa being built next door that occasionally made noise, but I guess that will only last for a short while longer.

Spacious villa for 8 people. Very clean. There were only 6 good sunbeds around the pool. 1 wooden sunbed was broken and another wooden one was not fit for purpose. Joanne sorted the sunbed shortage quickly for us.

The building work on next doors villa, which looks directly over you when sunbathing, is still ongoing. A few days were disrupted by the noise. We were told that the work was to be completed June 2026. More communication required from you to keep us updated would have been well received. The Villa is at the top of a steep hill so not fit for the elderly or infirm and is a good 25-30 minute walk to the town. The pool was freezing despite it being August. Had asked about it being heated and were told it didn't need it in the summer but would disagree. The main bedroom en-suite bathroom taps run either boiling hot or cold water. We noted that this problem had been previously mentioned in the complaints book but had obviously been ignored. The pillows were too soft and recommend supplying alternatives to suit soft/hard preferences. BBQ provided but no coals supplied. Guests should not have to supply their own coal.
