Can Divertit

Rustikales Häuschen in den Hügeln der Tramuntana inmitten von Olivenhainen mit traumhaften Ausblick auf die Bucht von Port de Sóller. Die Erholung beginnt gleich bei der Ankunft. Es ist absolut ruhig, die Vögel zwitschern, ab und zu blökt ein Schaf und gefühlt alle zwei Stunden fährt mal ein Auto vorbei. Silke war eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin und hat uns einen sehr frühen Checkin um 08:00 Uhr morgens ermöglicht. Im EG befinden sich drei klimatisierte Schlafzimmer mit Bad, im 1. OG der Wohn- und Essbereich mit Küche und darüber die Dachterrasse, ein absolutes Highlight, von der sich entspannt beobachten lässt, wie die Sonne im Meer untergeht. Eine der beiden Terrassen bietet immer ein schattiges Plätzchen. Außerdem sorgt ein Aufstellpool für Abkühlung.

The house was lovely and had an amazing view from the cozy rooftop terrasse. It had everything we needed. Our host was super helpful with everything and showed us to the house when we arrived in the middle of the night. (can be quite difficult to find for the first time in the dark).

- A spacious holiday house for up to 5 people. - Peaceful and surrounded by the nature. - Scenographic view over the bay of Sollér. - In the middle of the beautiful Tramuntana region. - Well equipped for daily needs and leisure.

- It's dangerous to walk in the dark from/to the town, because the main road (1.5 km) has no sidewalks and no illumination. Public transportation is not available, and taxis cannot reach the house. The final part of this road (0.4 km) is unpaved and bumpy, so it requires a robust car (our small car could hardly pass through it). - The premises and the equipment are neglected: I can make a list of things that were faulty, or unkept, or arranged as cheaply as possible. For example, the third bedroom is actually just a corridor with a bed, without any privacy. The staircases can be dangerous for the guests. Water leaks from the windows. Thin and stiff mattresses. Scraps abandoned in the yard. etc. - Cleanliness and hygiene: the premises were generally clean when we arrived (including fresh bedsheets and towels), However, the house gives a sensation of untidiness: we found dirty kitchenware, rusty/greasy appliances, many insects, and some personal effects left by previous guests. The terraces were not recently cleaned. The furniture hid dust and cobwebs. - The caretakers were responsive to our questions, and kind to bring us Mallorcan cakes for breakfast. However, there were some misunderstanding about the maintenance of the swimming pool (that in the end we never managed to use), and about herds of sheeps and their shepherds entering the grove around the house in the middle of the night (which at first was pretty scary). - In the end, it's possible to spend holidays at Can Divertit, but renouncing to some comfort, and sometimes having to deal with unexpected inconveniences. What is most annoying, is to realize that the description and the photos are misleading, This place can be appropriate for a group of young people, but not so much for families or elderly people that want to fully relax. Because of this, we find that the price for our stay was too high in relation to the value it offered.
