Wish we could stay longer!

So peaceful and welcoming. Very pretty annexe separate from owner’s home with a gated driveway/garden in which we parked our bike. Marie was very generous and hospitable and provided an extensive breakfast with homemade jams and the “best coffee in the world”.

Only drawback was that the local restaurant was closed and we were a bit too tired to go as far as Sedan for dinner.

Fabulous welcome to this pretty little property for two.

This is a super little property adjacent to the owners home. Lovely comfortable bedroom, pretty lounge with comfy chair and settee. Adequate bathroom facility. Complimentary tea and coffee. Marie was a lovely host and provided a fabulous breakfast with home made jams.

The property is c: ten I’m drive from Sedan so make sure you take provisions - when we visited the bar in the village was closed.

Such a delicious breakfast is not offered even in good hotels: in addition, many of the products were homemade. I really wanted to taste everything, but it was impossible!

Hidden gem in the French Ardennes.

This is a lovely B&B, situated in a quiet and pretty village in the French Ardennes. The apartment is private, separated from the main house, spacious, clean, and homely. Marie is an exceptionally welcoming and friendly host, who goes the extra mile to make her guests feel at home and looked after. And speaking of extra miles, remote as it may be, well worth a detour!

Amazing quiet and welcoming stay!

We received a very warm welcome, and it was just an oasis of peace. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, and there were drinks we could buy for a very reasonable price, which was highly appreciated!

I think everything was executed to perfection, but if I had to name ONE thing, it's the chemical toilet; it makes quite a bit of noise to flush, so if you want to do that in the night, your spouse/friend/etc will wake up unfortunately..

WONDERFUL amazing stay - thank you

We have travelled throughout France for years now staying in many many places and this was the best ever. Delightful lady. Very "COVID aware". We were given beer and little cake on arrival. Breakfast was incredible there was everything - including fresh American pancakes with maple syrup one morning. Cereal - especially welcome for the Brits ! It's the best breakfast we have ever had in France. Marie rescued us when we had no food on a Sunday (= everywhere in France closed) by providing us with supplies ! When we arrived she arranged a booking for us at a lovely restaurant. Secure private parking. All in all a wonderful experience in a beautiful area.

One of our best country side experience.

We chose the place because it was conveniently located on our journey and it had an excellent rating on booking.com. We discovered a very pleasant gite that deserves its high rating. We were sincerely welcomed by the landlords that made sure we would not miss anything. The place is a detached chalet from the main house. It is fully equipped,, comfortable and clean. place around is typical France country style very suited for peaceful and relaxing holidays. More dynamic activities are possible around. There is GR passing nearby. The place is highly recommended for those long range walkers (the breakfast is great!) and anybody aiming for nice holidays away from the crowded cities.

Eine Nacht ist zu wenig!

Außergewöhnlich reichhaltiges Frühstück mit verschiedenen Käsesorten, Schinken und vielen selbstgemachten Marmeladen. Am Nachmittag sehr freundlicher Empfang mit Apfelsaft und Gebäck. Die Ferienwohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und ein kühles Bier stand gegen eine kleine Gebühr im Kühlschrank bereit. Man spürte, dass Marie und ihr Mann sich über Gäste freuen. MERCI!
